Kathleen Weinheimer
With a dynamic and diverse career that spans over three decades, Kathleen Weinheimer brings a wealth of experience to her role as the new Director of Finance & Human Resources Operations at Aerie.
Starting her career at IDX Systems Corporation (now GE), Kathleen demonstrated her prowess in project management and revenue analysis from 1990 to 1994, successfully leading development and implementation of internal tools. She then took on what she describes as the most important job of her life - managing the Weinheimer Household Project Operations from 1994 to 2009.
Kathleen's passion for making a difference led her to the University of Vermont in 2009, whereas an Operations Manager for Supportive Services for Veteran Families, she spearheaded a tri-state Veteran Administration funded program to house homeless veterans and their families.
In 2016, Kathleen joined OpenTempo (now QGenda) as Director of Finance, where her strategic guidance was crucial during a multimillion-dollar acquisition, showcasing her expertise in financial management and compliance. Continuing her trajectory at QGenda, she excelled as Director of HR Operations until 2023, leading a comprehensive strategy for an 800-employee company that included HRIS implementation and benefits administration.
Kathleen's career is underpinned by a robust skill set that includes process automation and improvement, compliance management, financial reporting, data analysis, and proactive planning. She thrives in environments that require detail-oriented precision, team collaboration, and the use of technology to create scalable solutions.
Her contributions extend beyond her professional roles, serving on the executive board of the Green Mountain Horse Association and as a Fundraising Coordinator for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, reflecting her commitment to community and philanthropy.
Joining Aerie, Kathleen is inspired by the words of Ernest Hemingway, "Courage is grace under pressure." She is committed to blending efficiency with effectiveness, embodying her belief that doing things right is as important as doing the right things. Kathleen looks forward to leveraging her extensive experience and passion for technology and people management to drive Aerie's financial and HR operations to new heights.
